Consider myself a Zen Christian, a term I learned when I read NBA Coach Phil Jackson's book, “Sacred Hoops.” This is because I'm Christian, but I learn so much from Buddhism.
Like everyone, I struggle each day to be a better person in a world that tears me in different directions. A world that wants me to base my self worth on my apperance and my monetary value, while, at the same time, my spiritual guides, tell me that I am just a soul, that my body is a costume and that this life is transient.
